Dr. Robert L. Hocker, V.M.D.

Dr. Hocker was born and raised in the Montoursville Area. He grew up on his family’s farm outside of Montoursville, and graduated from Montoursville High School. After graduating from Penn State University in Animal Science, he went on to get his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He practiced large and small animal care in Wayne County, Pennsylvania for five years prior to opening the Montoursville Veterinary Hospital in 1991.

He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, and a prior trustee on the board of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association. He has been a member of the Montoursville Rotary Club since 1996, and was President of this Rotary club twice. He is also an elder at his church.

In his spare time, Dr. Hocker enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing and biking. He and his wife Stacey have three children and three grandchildren.
